Hey – I just wanted to share that all of the guys that installed our system were wonderful to work with. I ask a lot of questions and it was clear that every one of them really knows their stuff. We were very happy with the whole process, particularly with taking such detailed measurements of the house during the estimate, going out of the way to get us temporary AC, working with us on choosing the best site to dig the wells for the loops, and taking care inside to route the plumbing and electric to my satisfaction. The whole team really takes pride in their work and it shows!

My name is Russ and I’m writing to commend JASON MUELLER on the way that he took care of us on Wednesday the 4th of August. Tuesday night our air conditioning unit froze up and stopped working. We’re a GREEN CLUB MEMBER so I called your after-hours service, reported the problem, and asked the young man if Western Hills could get someone out as early as possible in the morning since we were scheduled to leave the first thing Wednesday morning for a family reunion out of town. The office called in the morning and I explained what had happened and requested service ASAP so we could still make our trip. Jason was sent to our house as soon as he completed his first job in Cincinnati.
When he arrived, he asked what was wrong and I explained our problem. He diagnosed the trouble as one of three things and checked the outside unit and found it to be fine. The filter had just been changed so that was not the problem. He said that it would freeze up if the fan wasn’t working and I went to a vent and checked for air flow. We had NO air flow, so he went to the downstairs unit and checked the electrical wiring and determined that the circuit board that controls the system was shot. The local TRANE service center did not have that part so TRANE was contacted, and they said they would have the circuit board to Western Hills on Friday. Jason seemed very honest and trustworthy so we left him the key to the house, and he said he would come back Friday and install the board so we could have air when we got back from our trip. That was very much appreciated, and we left on our trip. He said he would call us when the work was completed and the air was working again.
When the board was installed on Friday the A/C still did not work, Jason called TRANE and found out that it was common for a DC inverter to go out when the board went out so he had the office check at the local TRANE warehouse for that part. Fortunately, they had that part allowing Jason to come back later that day and complete the repairs and get our A/C working, again. Jason did call us and report all that had happened and that we now had A/C.
We could not be happier with Jason and Wester Hills Heating and Air Conditioning. They were all fantastic!


The design and installation by Western Hills Heating & AC of our new geothermal heating and cooling system proceeded very satisfactorily despite the system being rather sophisticated and complex. For example, the system includes four backyard “wells” each drilled 175 feet deep mostly through solid rock. Unavoidably on a project of this scale and complexity, occasional installation oversights occur, but any such situations were promptly corrected. Dave and his Western Hills staff were outstanding — extremely cooperative, responsive, and easy to work with — in addition to being very knowledgeable and experienced with this complex system. As we intended, by eliminating usage of natural gas the geothermal system has successfully reduced our household carbon footprint by about 45%, using renewably-generated electricity from the grid. Given all of the above, we’re pleased to heartily recommend Western Hills.

Hi – I just wanted to send an email telling you how great it is that we have such a wonderful heating & air conditioning company that we can trust. I’m sorry I forgot to check my calendar yesterday – Guy has been working from home every day for quite awhile and I thought he would be here, but he had to go to a customer’s site yesterday. It was so nice that Glenn stayed for a few minutes and that I caught him before he left, but mostly that I knew I could trust him to come into our home when no one was home and do an amazing job maintaining our air conditioner just like he always does. Please pass on our gratitude for a job well done!

Just wanted to thank Michael and WHHAC for the help on getting Honeywell to give us a free upgrade on the Trusteam Humidifier last year, to the unit with the sediment and reverse osmosis filters. I just replaced them for first time, and inspected inside the humidifier tank. No sediment in bottom and no lime deposits on heating coil. Incredible!

My wife and I are delighted that we found Western Hills Heating! As you know, we needed to have our 12 year old Trane furnace replaced.

We received an estimate from Jason. He was fabulous. As part of an additional request, Jason designed a new air filter return for us. Everything looks great. He was very professional.

Two days ago, Lou and Brendon (s/p) installed the new furnace. They could not have been more friendly, professional, and competent.

We have suffered through using HELP for the past six or seven ears. Will only use Western Hills Heating in the future!

WH came out to take care of a problem with my Water Furnace geothermal unit. They also came back a few weeks later to perform routine maintenance and cleaning. They are courteous and professional. I am very happy with our decision to have them install this unit (2008).

The service man that was sent to my home did an excellent job scoping out the problem with my geothermal unit! The service man was very concerned about where he walked and not to carry stuff on the bottom of his feet throughout my home. The unit was worked on and I am very pleased and confident that the unit will operate properly during these below zero temperatures. Nick just finished checking out our geothermal system, and like all the other visits I’ve gotten from Western Hills, did a great job. I really appreciate the willingness of all the folks who do service calls to answer ‘dumb’ questions from the homeowner in addition to the thorough check of the geothermal systems. Folks who own homes get to interact with a lot of service people—appliances and cars to name a couple. So I get to see how different companies handle customer service. Western Hills folks are simply the best. They do everything expected and then some.

You have attracted and trained some outstanding folks. I don’t think that can happen by simply being lucky.

Just wanted to let you know the two young men that installed my units were fantastic! They were very courteous and friendly. They had to walk over my grand kids toys and barricades and never complained.
I love my new unit! It is cool and for the first time in years, I do not have a fan going in the living room! My son says its cool upstairs also. I am so excited.
